Measured Building Survey

Measured Building Survey: This is the standard survey to produce drawings of the existing building usually with the purpose of developing the property and therefore planning consent approval. The drawings are done in AutoCAD and will include floor plans, roof plan and the external elevations with levels and overall dimensions. Additional detail could include sections, internal elevations, ceiling plans, bathrooms and kitchens in further detail, electrical points etc. Apart from architects, shop, kitchen and bathroom fitters would benefit from the extra detail captured, from walls that are not square to ones that slope from the floor to the ceiling causing anguish when a design does not capture these anomalies.
